How toEvaluate & develop
Set a goal
Give an athlete something to work toward. Skill and skill-set goals move on their own as you evaluate; assessment goals move as you record test results.
- Open the athlete's Goals tab
It is the first tab on the athlete's profile.
Open the Goals tab(opens in new tab) - Create a new goal
Select + to open Create Goal.
- Name the goal
Enter a title. For a Custom Goal, add a description too.
- Choose the goal type
Pick Skill Set Goal, Skill Goal, Assessment Goal, or Custom Goal.
- Set the target
For a skill or skill-set goal, choose the skill set (and skill); Striveon suggests a target one step above the current level. For an assessment goal, choose the assessment and metric, then a target value. For a custom goal, enter your own start and target values.
- Set the timeline
Choose whether the goal ends at the end of a training season or on a specific date.
- Save the goal
Select Create Goal.
What Striveon does automatically
As you evaluate a targeted skill or record a targeted test result, the goal's progress moves on its own and completes when it reaches the target. Custom goals you update by hand.
