Behind the scenes

How goals move on their own

You set the target once. From then on, the goals tied to your coaching move as you evaluate and test, without you updating a number.

What moves a goal

A skill or skill-set goal takes its new value from the evaluation you save: rate that skill, and the goal's progress follows. An assessment goal takes its value from the test result you record. This happens the moment you save.

When a goal completes

When a goal's value reaches its target, it marks itself complete. You do not close it by hand.

What stays in your hands

A custom goal is yours to move: it has no skill or test behind it, so you record its progress yourself. And a goal only moves while it is active, and only when the value actually changes.

What it does not do

Striveon does not decide the targets or invent progress. You set what good looks like; the athlete's own evaluations and results move the goal toward it.
