How attendance automation works
What Striveon sends, to whom, and when, once you have switched attendance automation on for a training group.
What starts it
A spot opening is the trigger. Someone marks themselves absent, or the training is short of the target size your organization settings hold, and the group has automation switched on. Nothing happens for a group that is switched off, which is every group until you turn it on.
Who gets asked, and in what order
Your two invite lists are asked in sequence, not at once. That is what stops a single open spot from going out to everybody.
The rules inside a list are yours: skill level, relative to the group or inside a fixed range; athletes who have trainings to cover; and a manual list of athletes who are always asked. The exclusion list overrides all of them.
When the messages go out
Each of the four timings you set is counted backwards from the training itself. Striveon checks for messages that have come due about every ten minutes rather than watching the clock continuously, so a message can leave up to ten minutes after its moment rather than exactly on it. Over hours and days, which is how these rules are usually set, the difference does not show.
What gets recorded
Every absence, cancellation, and replacement lands in the athlete's attendance history as it happens, marked as written automatically. Neither you nor the athlete keeps that list; you read it.
What it does not do
Striveon does not decide who should train. It asks the people your rules describe, in the order you set, and records what they answer.
It reaches athletes by email only. There are no push notifications, and no confirmation that a message was opened or read. An athlete without their own Striveon account, or with email notifications switched off, is never invited and never appears in the preview of who would be.
